Kennedy Theatre Company presents ‘Seussical’

Kennedy Theatre Company kicks off its 2024-25 season with their fall musical, ‘Seussical’ Oct. 24-27 at Kennedy High School, 9701 Nicollet Ave. South.

Seussical is based on the works of Dr. Seuss, combining elements from his most beloved stories, including Horton Hears a Who, The Cat in the Hat, and Green Eggs and Ham. Audiences will follow Horton the Elephant as he faces the challenges of protecting tiny Whos and guarding an abandoned egg left by Mayzie La Bird. The family-friendly show explores themes of friendship, loyalty and the power of imagination.

The production features a cast and crew of 60 students and is directed by Tanya Laumann and Nikki Jordan.

Showtimes:

  • Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. - Senior preview show.
  • Oct. 24-26 at 7 p.m.
  • Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online at kennedychoirs.org/theatre.
